Fire up Notepad, Wordpad or some other text editing program and open up the outcast.ini file from the /oc directory beneath the main Outcast directory and change the following. Please Note: Always make a backup of the file before editing (something like outcast.bak).

For increased health and dosh, change these parameters:

[Bonuses] -> [Bonuses]

MoneyChest=5.0000000 -> MoneyChest=5000000.0

Money=1.0000000 -> Money=1000000.0

Life=5.0000000 -> Life=5000000.0

You can also change the following parameters:

[SimpleGun] <- the base gun you start with.

Weight_of_bullet=0.010000

Speed_of_bullet_min=90.000000

Speed_of_bullet_max=110.000000

Reloadtime_of_bullet=20000

In addition, edit outcast.ini in the lower sections so that you can purchase most items very cheap:

To enable God Mode, find the entry "herodamage" and give it the value of 0 (default is 1).

Wanna get though locked doors and you have no key? Simply stand as close to the door as you can and drop an F-LINK (that's the teleporter device) and then teleport, because of a bug you will be on the other side!

No Key? No Problem

If you don't have a key but you do have a locator try this. Place a locator right next to the door and when you reappear you should be on the other side.
