Back Out Of The Room

If you're about to enter a room filled with hordes of enemies, it's much better to back out of the room, and get them as they stream through the door.

Wait For Maximum

Always remember that your magic recharges, so it's better in the long run to wait until you have maximum magic before starting on unknown rooms.

Handy Man

Your general health is ultimately more important than a big spell collection. Health potions are pretty rare, so concentrate on collecting them when you encounter a vendor. They'll come in handy when you're in big battles.

Stock It

You have a limited inventory. Stockpile your excess inventory in places on the map, and be sure to mark them so you can come back later and replenish your supplies.
